It was a night ruled by objects and Family Matters at Inspirado. When all was said and done, it would be Friday Night Sh*w who would be holding the Dale North Memorial Improv Tchotchkes (with help from their corporate sponsor, Duane Reade).
Friday Night Sh*w brought their A game and their TM Game, as massive New York drug company Duane Reade threw their weight behind the challenges. FNS selected a Physical challenge called Furniture Store: “In your set tonight, as many inanimate objects as possible must be played by the cast.” Friday Night Sh*w created a set of hunting enthusiasts and their prized mounts, witches brewing a potion, and large human jigsaw puzzle and human Jenga, always somehow seeming to come back to something nice you could by at Duane Reade (“DUANE READE!).
Not to be outdone, the unsponsored-but-always-feisty Chairman Golem took the stage to weave another musical tale. They chose a Nerdy challenge simply titled Urkel: “Your set must tell the tale of the life of the adult Urkel, after Family Matters.” Chairman Golem wove another musical creation about Urkel and Laura’s love problems. Steve turns to Stefan Urquelle to get her back. Meanwhile, time has found Carl Winslow retired, yet still holding on dearly to his firearm.
Both sets won the audience’s favor, but in the end, it was the smooth people stacking of Friday Night Sh*w that won the votes. They’ll return next week to face The Washingtons. Will CVS sponsor them next week? Will Duane Reade provide snacks? Find out next week on INSPIRADOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
